Step by step guide to buying online from Protect Life.

1. Browse the site to finding the product/s you require

2. Add all of the products you want to your basket (”Add To Basket”)

3. View your basket (click on ‘Items In Basket’ at the top right of the page)

4. You can change quantities and then click “update” or remove items from your basket

5. When you’re happy with the items selected press “Start Checkout”

6. If you are a first time customer Protect Life, Enter your email address. Then enter your delivery and billing details. Return Customers only need enter their email and password. If you have been issued with a discount code, enter it here. Then press “Continue” button.

7. You are now in your “order summary page” Check your details and amend if needed by pressing ‘Edit Entry’. Then press “Continue” button.

8. If you are happy with the contents of you order press the ‘Proceed’ button. (only if you wish to pay online by card)

9. If you do not wish to pay online, print this page and select one of the other three ways to pay (below)

Order by Post & Pay by Cheque
For UK customers only, you can also order by mail and pay by cheque. Follow steps 1-9 above and mail your order with a cheque for the specified amount, made payable to Protect Life Ltd, to the address below. Cheques will be cleared before orders can be dispatched. This method will take longer than the above methods.

  • Delivery charges are listed prior to purchase and will usually be a small order charge or have a component of this. Additional fees may be requested where the shipping cost for international orders is higher than the set price listed on this site.
  • Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, and we cannot reimburse postage for returning products. We recommend sending packages by insured post in ensure proper delivery. In some cases, we may charge a small re-stocking fee.
  • Where promotions (i.e. gift certificates and discount codes) are given customers must enter them prior to purchase, these promotions cannot be redeemed after purchase.
  • We are closed on and between 24 December and the 10th of January, orders may be placed but we can neither process or provide customer service information over this period.

  • Goods will not be shipped until all costs are paid and cleared in full. Any funds paid in advance i.e. via this web site is/are to be seen as a deposit. Where transactions do not complete for any reason, an admin charge will be deducted from received funds (£30 or 15% whichever is the smaller). Detained terms and conditions will be presented with orders where appropriate.
  • Some products do not show a price or display 1p as the price, this is because we are bound not to reveal all prices any such purchases will be viewed as non refundable deposits. The outstanding balance will be requested via email (excluding the full shipping and customs and excise duty).

Returns of items

Cancellation and changes

Please notify cancellation and changes to your order by using our using our email form. If your order has not been processed then it will be possible to cancel or amend the order as requested. However if the order has been processed and despatched, then you may wish to return the items for a full* refund less any carriage charges incurred.

Refunds
Occasionally suppliers/manufacturers cannot fulfill our orders for varying reasons in this case we will refund you by:
• For values les than £50 - By awarding you the corresponding points, allowing you to select something else at a time convenient to you;
• Or by credit transfer to your bank account (you must send us your bank account or PayPal details).

Please Note: We refrain from refunding credit cards for small values as it costs more to do this than to transfer the funds to your account.

*From time to time an order may be cancelled by the customer prior to it being delivered or after delivery. In such a case a complete refund will be offered. Where payments are made by credit card: as the credit card company charges us £10 per refund and we will have to return the product to our supplier. We have to deduct the cost of refund plus the cost of returning the item plus a small admin charge (usually £5 or 5% of the order value).
