Good environmental practice can benefit the environment and everyone affected by your organisations activities.
Using 8 goals, this module looks at how everyone in the workplace can be involved in protecting the environment by using energy efficiently; using resources efficiently, helping to reduce pollution which meets regulations and reaches standards which can lower costs and improve competitiveness thus improving public relations.
The module also delves into the three ‘Rs’ – reduce; reuse and recycle and illustrates how this and the 8 goals can be put to practical use both in the workplace and at home.
A short series of questions assesses the participants understanding of the information presented.
