Breaking into lines containing hazards is a task performed at every industrial site. However, just because line breaks are routine doesn’t mean they should be performed carelessly, without planning, appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety precautions. If not performed properly, every line break has the potential to interrupt production, reduce uptime, damage equipment, cause environmental incidents and, worst of all, cause serious injury to personnel.
Guiding the user through the basic steps to undertake a line break, this module provides underpinning knowledge to empower the user when the practical procedure is carried out.
The module includes video footage of a line break taking place in an industrial environment.
The module concludes with a validation section, with multiple choice and drag’n’drop questions assessing the users comprehension of the information presented to them.
