Laerdal BaXstrap Spineboard
Product Code: HCM-AE-10250-982500 A one-piece construction spineboard, the BaXstrap is comfortable for the patient, yet rigid and lightweight. Extra large and multiple handholds assist in a more secure rescue and in addition to use on the mountains, within the workplace or on the road, it is suitable for water rescue. Product Code: HCM-AE-10278-ST/192 The Donway Lifting Frame offers a simple and advanced system for easier, safer lifting of patients with suspected neck and spinal injuries. It is designed to be fitted around the patient with the minimum of disturbance and can be used to lift and transport accident victims, the seriously ill and the physically disabled. The principle of the Donway Lifting Frame recognises the need to lift and transport patients as they lie - without moving them in the medical sense so minimising further spinal flexion, rotation or extension. It is particularly suitable for the movement of accident victims found lying on the ground and for the safe movement of patients in hospitals, theatres, wards, intensive care and x-ray. The design approach reverses the more traditional method which involves the lifting of the person onto a carry device. The frame is readily built around the person irrespective of their position on the ground.
