Age Spot Lightener with Phytallume? is a highly concentrated serum that hydrates and rejuvenates the skin while diminishing the appearance of melanin-induced age spots. Age Spot Lightener features pure hyaluronic acid, nature?s own super-moisturizer and a blend of organically-grown plant extracts that significantly lightens age spots without harsh chemicals.
Age-related changes to skin color fall into two general categories: those resulting from the accumulation of cellular waste products (known as lipofuscin), and those related to overproduction of melanin, the skin?s natural protective pigment. Melanin is produced by specialized skin cells in response to UV rays, so age spots typically appear on face, neck, arms and hands, areas that are subject to more frequent exposure to the sun.
Phytallume? development is the result of a research program in which dozens of plants were screened for their tyrosinase-inhibiting potential. Of the plants tested, 15 were selected for their exceptional in vitro activity and were subsequently tested on cell cultures. In the cell cultures, seven of the plants demonstrated significant tyrosinase inhibition. Phytallume? is a blend of extracts of these seven plants, combined in a precise, synergistic ratio for maximum benefit. In vitro, ex vivo and in vivo tests verify that Phytallume? effectively reduces tyrosinase activity and inhibits melanin biosynthesis.

Dosage:
Twice daily after cleansing, apply a few drops to the back of the hand and apply to desired areas. The number of emulsifiers has been limited, so if you notice separation in the serum, shake well before using. To avoid contamination use caution when removing the dropper from the bottle, avoiding any surface or object other than the inside of the bottle. Allow the drops to fall onto the back of the hand to avoid contamination.
