Regular consumption of green lipped mussels or their extract may help to reduce joint pain, improve flexibility and rebuild lost cartilage, as well as helping to maintain good health and well being.
Seatone contains the pure extract of an edible green lipped mussel, Perna canalicus, found only in the clear unpolluted water surrounding New Zealand. Much research has been conducted internationally to test the efficacy of Seatone green lipped mussel extract (GLME) food supplement. The most important early study was conducted in Glasgow under the supervision of Dr Robin Gibson: and the positive results were published. Subsequently, a double-blind, placebo-controlled study that lasted six months was carried out in France involving more than 200 respondents. Daily intake during this study was 1,380mg of Seatone, and positive results were published by Dr Herni Billard.
Dosage:
Up to 3 tablets daily with a meal.

Green Lipped Mussel is a natural extract and normal allergic reactions may be experienced by anyone with an allergy to shellfish.
